Teradyne calibration services help test semi-conductors and other electronics to ensure they’re operating at peak performance. They’re automated electronics that allow microchips to get smaller and smaller while getting better at performing. This video explains what Teradyne does and some of its history.

Teradyne was founded decades ago by two graduates of MIT. Electronics back then took up entire rooms. The founders knew that testing was necessary to make sure the electronics were the highest quality. They also knew it would help electronics progress, and they helped pave the way for the comparatively minuscule microchips we use today.

One of the most exciting fronts that Teradyne works on is automobiles. Since the inception of the first automobile, more and more electronics have been installed. Now, onboard computers can handle a variety of tasks for the driver, and it’s only going to increase. Teradyne will ensure that the computers being used in automobiles work well and last for years.

Teradyne also works to create collaborative working environments between humans and AI to free up human labor and increase efficiency. Instead of people doing monotonous tasks all day, they will work with and monitor robots who will handle the bulk of the work. For more information, check out the video above.
